I’ve received lots of kind messages about VIPER’S NEST ROADHOUSE & CAFE from you. Thank you so much!  

For those who prefer listening to the audiobook, it’ll be out on December 12th. I’m very excited that Samantha Desz is again giving voice to my story. 

Sam & Clive will be back next October in The Bloody Ruin Asylum & Taproom. We’re going to Budapest, y’all! 

WICCHE HUNT, the second book in the Sea Wicche Chronicles will be out April 16, 2024. 

I know I usually give you a free short story on my birthday (today), but this year I’ll need to push it until the spring. It’s been a hell of a year (and not in a good way). I’m at that point in life where I’m taking care of daughters with medical issues and a mom whose worsening dementia ended in her recent passing. It was a miracle I got Viper’s Nest finished and (mostly) on time. I started this year’s short story (Russell, Godfrey, & Audrey at the nocturne) but didn’t have the mental/emotional capacity to finish it before I had to start working on Wicche Hunt. So, you’ll need to wait a little longer for that story, but you will get it after Wicche Hunt. I’m heading down to Monterey in a few hours for a 2-day writing retreat in my favorite waterfront hotel.

In other news, I’ll be attending the Chicago Spring Fling conference. I’ll be one of the authors signing books on Saturday April 20th at the Renaissance Chicago-O’Hare Suites. If you’re living in or near Chicago and would like to buy ($10) print copies of my books for me to sign, could you fill out this Google form? 

If you’re nowhere near Chicago and have print copies of my books and would like them signed, just let me know. I can sign bookplate stickers and mail them to you. I’ve done this for a couple of readers and would be happy to do it for any of you
